Type II Deionisation System
The Modulab Type 11 takes potable
water and refines this to an ASTM
Type 11 standard suitable for
general laboratory use. Product
water has a resistivity between
2 and 10 m?-cm-1 at an output
flow rate of 2 litres per minute.
As a guide ultra pure water has
a maximum resistivity of 18.24
m?-cm-1 and distilled water is
in the order of 0.4 to 0.6 m?-cm-1.
The Modulab PureONE and PureONE+
are recirculating single or dual
dual-cartridge systems that produce
high purity water from Type II
feedwater. Installed downstream
from a pre-treated water source
(such as an RO system), these
polishers recirculate the feedwater
through a nuclear grade deionisation
cartridge (PureONE) and an organic
scavenger cartridge (in the PureONE+).
