SYSTEM
CONFIGURATIONS
|
| |
Duplex provides
twice the flow of a single unit
by plumbing two systems in parallel.
One tank is regenerated at a time. |
| |
Alternating Duplex
utilizes two softening tanks,
with one tank on-line at a time. |
| |
Triplex uses
three tanks, with two on-line
and one on standby or in regeneration
at any given time. |
REGENERATION
CONFIGURATIONS
|
| |
Timer Systems
regenerate at a predetermined
time. |
| |
Metered Systems
regenerate after a predetermined
number of litres of water have
been processed. |
| |
Remote Systems
regenerate after a remote signal
is received, triggered by a meter,
quality monitor or other monitoring
device. |
| |
Modular Design
allows your system to grow as
your water demand increases. |
| |
ASTM Coded Pressure
Vessel accommodates industrial
requirements. |
| |
Power Configurations
include 24V, 120V, 220V in 60/50Hz
operation. |
| |
Pre-programmed
regeneration cycle
No more fussing with control pins
to program the regeneration sequence.
The system is pre-programmed at
Kinetico based your application
and system parameters. |
| |
Para-Flo or Alternator Selection
The system can operate in either
Para-Flo or Alternator mode with
no programming changes. The position
of one switch in the system will
determine the mode of operation.
The system can be changed in the
field from one mode to another
within seconds. |
| |
Adjustable brining level
from 6 to 15 lbs/ft3
The systems program incorporates
settings for three brining levels.
The position of a rotary switch
allows the operator to select
6, 10 or 15 lbs./ft3 brining for
the regeneration sequence. |
| |
Easy expansion from 2 to
3 tanks
No additional programming is required
to add a tank to a duplex system.
Simply connect the additional
tank with the quick inter-connect
cable. Expansion has never been
simpler. |
| |
Regeneration override button
for start-up and system diagnostics
During start-up, a push button
is used to manually advance the
regeneration cycle to the next
stage. This allows for a simple
start-up procedure. |
| |
Memory retentive program
Even if the system losses power,
the PLC will retain its program
settings and continue with the
regeneration sequence. |
| |
Dry contact for regeneration
start
A totaling flow meter is used
to signal regenerations for the
system. Since the PLC only requires
a closed contact to start the
regeneration, any type of monitoring
or analyzing device with a dry
contact can be used to initiate
the regeneration sequence. |
| |
Internal data logging and
PC interface for experienced users.
The PLC will internally log data
including: number of regenerations
for each tank, total number of
regenerations and time since last
regeneration. Using a separate
computer interface, this data
can be used to track the performance
of the system. |
